“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
As I write this article my eyes well up with tears; not tears of despair, but tears of joy. The devil was hard after the innocent blood of these lil’ babies. I first met Tyiesha when she was 13 weeks pregnant with twins walking out of the abortion mill. She was overwhelmed and crying. We gently persuaded her that killing her baby was not the answer and the execution of her children was stayed.
Six weeks later, she was back walking into this extermination camp. I was shocked, “Tyiesha!” I begged her not to go in there. She came to kill but didn’t have enough money; they charge double for twins. We promised to do whatever it takes to save their lives. She returned that Saturday and in the bitter cold we loaded up a set of bunk-beds for her other four children and she saw the love of Jesus on the streets outside this mill. We noticed the abortion clients and workers watched us loading the bunk beds into her borrowed minivan. She came inside the Small Victories van to see her babies for the first time and she was delighted to watch them dance on the ultrasound screen. We were able to determine she was expecting one of each sex. I noticed a slight shadow underneath one baby and told her to get this further investigated with a follow-up ultrasound at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis .
Later that week she phoned to tell me, “Miss Angela, I’m not expecting twins. I’m pregnant with triplets!” We threw a baby shower in May for her. This past Friday at 1:38 a.m. all three arrived safely only four weeks premature.
After the delivery I walked into her room and Tyiesha began crying and I sat by her. She softly said, “My babies wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you. I can’t believe I almost killed them.” I immediately put my hand on her shoulder and said, “No, it’s not me, it’s the Lord. He just used me that day.” She said, “I can‘t imagine what it would be like without them here. Thank you for being there.” PTL! How many more babies could be saved from the devil’s lust of innocent blood if God’s people would listen to His Word and be obedient? Just one dear God, just one. Every day we pray outside these deathcamps on the streets in every city. Dear Lord, spare one baby today and send a mother out into our arms. If only more of God’s people were on the streets helping us we could save more. Just one dear Lord, just one more.
Be encouraged, Angela
