Fatherhood is probably one of the hardest roles to fulfill. That's why it's so important to thank those dads who have hung in there and are committed to raising their children. A dad is a son’s first hero and a daughter’s first love. With gentle strength and quiet pride a dad helps navigate his offspring through life's passages. His self-concern is set aside. He is the protector and provider. With the strength of a mountain
and the comforting arm of night he calms and carries us through the storms in our lives.                                                                                                             

Dad is always the last for a new pair of shoes, his family and others come first. He has your back when it comes to getting children out of
jams, like the four year old bringing her collection of bugs inside the house and letting them loose. He scrambles to help her catch them all before mom gets home. It’s the little things that make dads heroes; helping us tie our shoe, our first bike ride, driving lessons when mom says “she would rather give birth on a crowded bus,” than teach the teens to drive.                                                                                                                                         

And money doesn’t make him happy, his children not wanting money makes him happy. He is your biggest fan and loudest cheerleader at
your games. Thank you, Dad, for the tender discipline. For understanding the key is knowing when to give children a hand, and when to stand back. Our children have been loaned to us temporarily, for the purpose of loving them, and instilling a foundation of values on which their
future lives will be built. We will be accountable through eternity for the way we discharge that responsibility .Today, when the slogan seems
to be “Siring many, raising few,” the greatest gift to the world is fathers in the lives of their children.
