The “Messiah” Comes to the Midwest

Small Victories Brings the Truth to the Show Me State

October 18, 2008

1 Samuel 8:5-7 “They said to Samuel, “You are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have.” But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected Me as their king.”

There was a mad exodus in Missouri , the Show Me state, as we showed them what Barack Obama stands for. We were greeted with a sea of approximately 100,000 supporters quickly pouring under the Gateway to the West. This was the largest crowd in Barack Obama’s history of political rallies.

There were only a few of us standing in the gap for the unborn babies. It was a miracle we made it out alive without being physically assaulted. The people were so aggressive we weren’t able to show the graphic signs for long, but we tried. Baby Malachi was hated. We passed out literature, which, of course, was thrown to the ground. What ever happened to “tolerance”?

“Poor”-choice dignitaries were on hand under the main staging area such as Missouri democratic Senator Claire McCaskill, pro-abortion and Catholic and Mayor Francis Slay, also pro-abortion and Catholic. East St. Louis native and Olympian Jackie Joyner-Kersee waved to her fans as they waited in anticipation for their "king".

It was unbelievable, the anger that the crowds of Obamanites felt towards the truth bearers. The signs were hated and booed. Our ultrasound van was cursed at and received many middle-finger salutes from young democratic liberals. What were we thinking? The deluded multitudes hate pre-born children. Swarms of police and secret service agents surrounded the Arch grounds.

You would think the democratic presidential candidate was a rock star with some of the comments people were directing towards us. One man told us, “OOOHH! I got to touch him at his last rally.”

We stood strategically to the crowds and moved our positions several times throughout the event. Yes, even though baby Malachi was dead, his voice spoke volumes at his very presence. This is America and America, for the most part, is enamored with the slick talking Chicago politician now known as the “Messiah” about to bring “change” to our nation. Like lambs being led to the slaughter, we thought there was a spirit of “Obama” drunkenness around us as we stood in the enemy’s camp.

Our nation is living in a culture of death. They, for the most part, love abortion. Just like Mr. Obama. He has voted for every piece of pro-abortion legislation put before him here in Illinois . Even infanticide. If a pre-born baby is born alive during an abortion, he voted for legislation to avoid all attempts to resuscitate and maintain life support for an infant. “All those who hate me love death.” Proverbs 8:36.

What has eerily begun with propaganda of school children singing a catchy Obama tune will end with the deaths of more millions of children in the womb. We are repeating history. There are so very few left to be the watchmen to warn of the lurking danger.

There was another charismatic fellow from our history who turned the world upside down and came into power during economic hard times and deluded the people with promises of “change”. This delusion ultimately led to the destruction of over 6 million Jews alone.

Now, this same “king” has sat in his church for over twenty years listening to his pastor G—damning America and Obama personally mocked a small Pennsylvania town for “clinging to its religion and guns”. Liberty and the pursuit of happiness? How can we enjoy either without the first inalienable right to LIFE?

I am not so much afraid for my freedoms, but when I think of our children and grandchildren still to come, it causes me to tremble. Who will speak up for the little ones? Who will care for the elderly, the disabled?

The world has rejected the Lord’s ways. Everyone does as he pleases, forsaking God’s laws, slaves to the king. One day there will come a time when the people will cry out to the Lord for relief from the king they have chosen, but will the Lord answer?
