Hope Clinic Death and Destruction on Our Lord’s Day

“Death and Destruction are never satisfied, and neither are the eyes of man.” Proverbs 27:20

It was a warm, spring morning as we drove through the skeletal ruins of the City of Slaughter , also known as Granite City , Illinois , on our way to church. We drove by the slaughterhouse where little baby boys and baby girls are sacrificed on the stainless steel altars to the god of convenience. Yes, babies dying on our Lord’s Day, OUR LORD’S DAY! Disheartened, we witnessed several late-term clients’ cars from previous days at the abortion mill. One in particular was the pick-up truck emblazoned with the chalk details of why they were proudly killing their children. This Oklahoma couple, who attacked us the day before, was back for Day Three of this innocent child’s execution and, flying in the face of God and our ministry on the sidewalk was their obnoxious truck with what appeared to be a handwritten excuse on the back to justify yet another surgical abortion as their method of birth control. It read: “Prenatal Care- $7,000, Delivery -$10,000, Raising a Child- $15,000 x 18 yrs., Abortion- PRICELESS.”

Although we had only a third of our family with us, we parked and got out to pray on the front sidewalk. It was Sunday, our Lord’s Day to praise and worship Him, and here the evildoers were ripping little babies apart in this silent steel town. And, as we interceded, an occasional car drove by, and a few people walked inside the hospital located across the street, yet, for the most part this slaughterhouse quietly coexists in a city blessed with churches on every corner. And I wonder; do they hear the babies’ cries?

Several years ago we caught this same abortion mill killing mostly late-term babies on Sunday. Back then, when exposed, they cut back to weekdays and Saturdays only. Today, on our way to church, to the evildoers’ surprise, we stopped by the slaughterhouse and prayed. Our family stood in the gap. And, the vulgar couple from Oklahoma who had spewed filth and hate towards us the day before? They were back to finish the dismemberment of their very late-term baby.

“All those who hate Me love Death.” ~God

We no sooner began praying when chief abortionist, Mr. Shah, shot out of the front door walking quickly over to the hospital across the street. He was surprised to see our family standing and praying. “Yogi, it’s the Lord’s Day!” I called over to him. He quickly shot a glance at us and continued running inside the hospital. In past incidents with the chief abortionist behaving this way, he more than likely was setting up for a patch job on one of his late-termers who may have suffered complications during the grisly abortion. Yes, Yogendra Shah never has responded to our pleas to stop killing God’s babies and, on this day, local Granitonian and former Catholic altar boy, Ryan Goskie, was the only other notable employee inside Hope(less) Clinic. Later, at church, we asked the congregation to pray for their conversion. Read
Saturday’s account  for more details.

In our almost 18 years of witnessing and ministering on the streets of Granite City we have never seen so much indifference and depravity towards child killing and immorality. Pure evil runs rampant in our nation. Is it any wonder we see so much senseless violence in the streets, in our homes, and the lack of respect for innocent life? Unfortunately, abortion has become America ’s favorite pastime and, for the most part it gets a seal of approval from most apathetic churches and communities. Is it any wonder why abortion-bound mothers and their accomplices don’t even blush when confronted with the sin of abortion and the act of premeditated murder? Or, incredibly, the sickening view of an entire family, or several generations, accompanying a woman about to abort her child inside this slaughterhouse? This is what we have become: a nation of savages, of killers drawing the sword.

This is how Mother Teresa put it, “ America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe vs. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has shown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate of human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father’s role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest gifts – a child- as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters. And in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being’s entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign.”

We must never back down from standing for truth and righteousness and exposing what is vile. We must champion what is clearly good in order to defeat evil. Our children and our future depend on it.

Hell is forever. See you at the gates.
